Free Etsy Chrome Extensions Compared (2026)

Almost every Etsy research tool has a free Chrome extension. The catch is what "free" covers. Most free tiers show views and favorites but keep sales estimates for paying users. Pick the extension based on the question you are trying to answer: what to make, or which words to use.

I build PaloTagz, which has one of these extensions. The other tools' details come from their own pricing pages in November 2026.

Quick comparison

Extension Free tier shows Free limits Sales estimates free? Paid from
EverBee Views, reviews, favorites, basic keyword data 10 keywords, 5 saved shops No $24.99/month
eRank Keyword lookups, listing audits 5 lookups and 5 audits a day No $5.99/month
Alura Keyword and product searches, AI listing optimization 5 searches a day Not listed $7.99/month
Sale Samurai Search volume and tags while you type in Etsy Extension free with every plan No Paid plans
PaloTagz Views, favorites, listing age, est. monthly sales 5 search pages a day with an account Yes $9.99/month

Free limits change often. Check each pricing page before you rely on a number.

EverBee

EverBee's free Hobby plan shows views, reviews and favorites on listings, plus 10 keyword lookups. Sales, revenue and conversion rate start on Growth at $24.99 a month. There is no free trial of the paid plan.

Use it for: a quick look at how popular a listing is.

eRank

eRank is a keyword tool first. The free plan gives you 5 keyword lookups a day, 5 listing audits, and one AI listing helper use. Paid plans start at $5.99 a month, which is the cheapest paid option here.

Use it for: checking search volume and competition for tags.

Alura

Alura's free plan includes the Chrome extension, 5 keyword and product searches a day, and a small number of AI listing optimizations. Basic is $7.99 a month.

Use it for: keyword research plus an AI score on your own listings.

Sale Samurai

Sale Samurai's extension works inside Etsy's search bar. It shows search volume for keywords as you type and lets you grab tags from top listings. The extension comes with every plan.

Use it for: finding tag ideas while you browse Etsy.

PaloTagz

The PaloTagz extension adds views, favorites, the listing's original age and estimated monthly sales under each listing in Etsy search. You get three search-page previews without an account. A free account gets five search pages a day. Paid plans are unlimited.

Use it for: spotting young listings that already sell, which is the best signal for what to make next. I explain how to read the numbers in the extension metrics guide.

Which one to install

  • "What should I make?" You need sales estimates and listing age. Use PaloTagz free, or pay for EverBee Growth.
  • "Which words should I use?" You need search volume. Use eRank or Sale Samurai.
  • "Is my listing good?" You need a listing check. Use Alura's optimizer, eRank's audit or the free PaloTagz listing analyzer.

You do not need all of them. Running three extensions on the same page slows Etsy down and stacks numbers that disagree.

Treat sales numbers as estimates

Etsy does not publish listing-level sales. Every extension estimates them from public signals like reviews, favorites and shop sales. Use the numbers to compare listings against each other, not as a forecast of what you will sell. A listing with five times the estimated sales of its neighbours is a real signal. The exact number is not.

FAQ

Which free Etsy extension shows sales? Of the five here, the PaloTagz free account shows estimated monthly sales. EverBee and eRank keep sales data on paid plans.

Are Etsy extensions allowed? Extensions that only read public Etsy pages in your own browser are common. Avoid tools that ask for your Etsy password. Tools that edit your shop should connect through Etsy's official API.

Can I use these on my phone? No. Chrome extensions work in desktop Chrome and some Chromium browsers.
