1. Introduction
Palotagz is an independent third-party tool that connects to both the Etsy API and the Printify API to help sellers bulk-manage listings and upload products to Printify print-on-demand.
DISCLAIMER: THIS APPLICATION IS SOLELY PROVIDED BY PALOTAGZ AND IS NOT ENDORSED, CERTIFIED, OR APPROVED BY ETSY, INC. THIS APPLICATION USES THE ETSY API BUT IS NOT ENDORSED OR CERTIFIED BY ETSY.
2. Data We Access & Store
- Etsy data (listings, images, videos, titles, descriptions, tags, prices): Temporarily cached in your browser for up to 6 hours and never stored on our servers longer than 24 hours.
- Printify data (uploaded products, variants, Printify product IDs): Stored in your Palotagz account so you can view, edit, and re-upload your Printify catalog at any time.
- Your Palotagz account data (email, subscription plan, preferences).
- Etsy & Printify OAuth tokens (securely encrypted).
3. How We Use Your Data
We use Etsy data only to provide live syncing and bulk-editing features. We use Printify data to let you manage and bulk-upload products to your Printify catalog — this data is kept long-term because it is your own product catalog inside Palotagz.
4. Data Sharing
We never sell your data. We only share it with Etsy and Printify via their official APIs when you explicitly request an action (e.g., update a listing or push to Printify).
5. Your Rights & Deletion
You can delete your entire Palotagz account (including all stored Printify catalog data) at any time from your account settings. Etsy data is automatically purged within 24 hours regardless.
6. Chrome Extension
The Palotagz Chrome extension stores the following data locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API. This data never leaves your device except as described below:
- Auth tokens, email, and subscription plan: Stored locally in Chrome storage to keep you signed in to the extension. This information is never shared with third parties.
- User preferences (e.g., which stats to display): Stored locally in Chrome storage so your settings persist between sessions.
- Saved listings: Synced to your Palotagz account database so you can access them across devices.
- Etsy listing data (views, favorites, listing age): The extension fetches this publicly available information directly from Etsy to display analytics on search result pages. This data is not stored on our servers.
The extension does not collect browsing history, track pages outside of Etsy.com, or transmit any data to third parties.
7. Cookies & Tracking
On our website (palotagz.com) we use cookies and similar technologies. When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or choose by category. Non-essential cookies are not loaded until you agree, and you can change or withdraw your choice anytime via the Cookie settings link in the footer. Your choice is stored in a cookie on your device — we do not keep a record of it on our servers.
- Strictly necessary: Required for the site to work — keeping you signed in (Supabase authentication) and remembering your cookie preference. Always active; these cannot be turned off.
- Analytics: PostHog, used to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Only loaded with your consent.
- Marketing: Google Tag Manager and our affiliate referral cookie (which credits the person who referred you when you sign up). Only loaded with your consent.
We also use privacy-friendly, cookieless measurement (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) that does not track you across sites and does not require consent.
