How to Bulk Edit eBay Listings

To bulk edit eBay listings, select the listings in Seller Hub, choose Edit, and change the fields for all of them at once. That covers price, quantity, shipping, and other shared fields. For hundreds of structured changes, download a listings report, edit it as a CSV, and upload it back. For rewriting titles and descriptions one by one at speed, use a bulk editor.
I sell print-on-demand on Etsy and eBay and I build PaloTagz, which includes an eBay bulk editor. eBay's own tools are enough for many changes. Here is when to use which.
Pick the method
| Change you want | Best method |
|---|---|
| Same price, quantity, or shipping on many listings | Seller Hub bulk edit |
| Hundreds of rows with different values | Seller Hub CSV upload |
| New title or description per listing | Bulk editor (for example PaloTagz) |
| Find which listings need work first | Traffic data, then bulk editor |
Method 1: Seller Hub bulk edit
- Open Seller Hub → Listings → Active.
- Tick the listings you want to change, or select all on the page.
- Choose Edit and open the bulk editing view.
- Change the field across the selection, check the preview, and submit.
Good for shared values. Slow when every listing needs its own new title.
Method 2: CSV upload
- In Seller Hub, open Reports and download your active listings.
- Edit the columns you want in a spreadsheet. Keep the item IDs.
- Upload the file back and check the upload results for errors.
Good for big structured changes like prices for 500 items. Risky for HTML descriptions: one broken cell can break a listing. Always test with five rows first.
Method 3: A bulk editor for POD listings
Print-on-demand listings are many similar products where the title, description, and item specifics need work per listing. A bulk editor shows them side by side, so you edit fast without a spreadsheet.
In PaloTagz you can:
- Edit titles and HTML descriptions across listings.
- Update prices, stock, and item specifics.
- Manage gallery and variation-color images.
- Sort by impressions, views, click-through rate, and conversion to find what to fix first.
Starter includes 50 eBay listing edits a month; Pro is unlimited.
What to fix first
Do not edit everything. Look at 30 days of data:
- Impressions but no clicks: fix the title and main photo.
- Clicks but no sales: fix price, description, or item specifics.
- No impressions: fix the title keywords and category, or retire the listing.

FAQ
Can you bulk edit eBay listings for free? Yes. Seller Hub bulk edit and the CSV upload in Seller Hub Reports are free for all sellers.
Can I bulk edit eBay titles? Yes, but Seller Hub sets shared values well and unique titles poorly. For a new title per listing, use a CSV upload or a bulk editor.
Does bulk editing hurt my eBay ranking? Editing a listing does not reset its sales history. Large keyword changes can move rankings for a while, so change a test batch first and compare after two weeks.
Can I edit Etsy and eBay listings in one tool? PaloTagz has bulk editors for both Etsy and eBay. See selling POD on multiple platforms.
PS: Running POD on eBay? Go to PaloTagz, connect eBay, and sort your listings by what actually gets seen.
